Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device, and it doesn't track you across other sites.

Site weather

The homepage forecast is fetched by our server from MET Norway, so your IP address isn't passed to them. Your chosen town is remembered only in your own browser.

Cookies

Our site: we don't set tracking or advertising cookies. We save your answer to the cookie notice in your browser so it doesn't keep appearing.
Shops we link to: if you click through to a retailer, it may set its own cookies, including affiliate cookies that credit us with a sale. Those are covered by the retailer's own privacy policy.

If you sign up, we store your email address with our newsletter provider, [Kit], only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Emails to us

If you email us, we keep the message only as long as we need to reply and deal with your request.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
